Steve Lesperance - Woodville FREEDOM GROUP Presentation | Ward 8 | August 16, 2026

Steve Lesperance — Woodville FREEDOM GROUP Presentation | Ward 8 | August 16, 2026 *UPDATE FOR CLARIFICATION: 19:28 I said, "here's a team for accountability, that's what I see that we need.", I am not saying that this is the team.* On Sunday, August 16, 2026, I had the opportunity to speak at the Woodville FREEDOM GROUP about why I am running for Ward 8 Councillor in the City of Kawartha Lakes and what I believe needs to change at City Hall. This presentation covers some of the biggest parts of my campaign: 🔹 Accountability at City Hall — government must remember who it works for: **the people**. 🔹 Cutting Taxes & Cutting Waste — before asking taxpayers for more money, we need to look seriously at waste, duplication, contracts, litigation costs and whether taxpayers are receiving real value. 🔹 PITA — Public Issue Tracker APP Got an issue? Put it in PITA! Report it. Map it. Track it. Get answers. One complaint can be overlooked. A visible pattern cannot. 🔹 Cube House Media — rebuilding local, independent communication so residents, businesses and community voices have another way to be heard. 🔹 Paper Ballots & Election Transparency — election confidence should be based on a process people can observe, understand and independently verify. 🔹 Witness Your Vote — a citizen-led initiative focused on voter documentation, witnessing, paper-ballot advocacy and building greater public confidence in our elections. I am not claiming that I have proof an election has been rigged. I am asking a much more basic question: Can the people independently verify the process and the result? I believe residents deserve; service, records, results, value for money and real accountability* I am not running simply to hold a seat. I am running to work for the people. CHANGE IS COMING! 🌐 SteveLesperance.com 📍 PITA Public Issue Tracker: SteveLesperance.com/map If you believe Kawartha Lakes needs stronger accountability, lower taxes, better representation and election p

Steve Lesperance — YORK REGION CANADIANS FOR T.R.U.T.H. Presentation | Kawartha Lakes Election 2026

Steve Lesperance — YORK REGION CANADIANS FOR T.R.U.T.H. Presentation | Kawartha Lakes Election 2026 2026.09.19 I was honoured to be invited as an added special guest to speak at YORK REGION CANADIANS FOR T.R.U.T.H., hosted by Lynn & Sonny. The first guest speaker was Shelagh McFarlane, author of the POGG Primer, POGG Protocol & POGG Playbooks — Peace, Order & Good Governance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCPl01QfRSM Through her POGG work, Shelagh presents her position that Canada is facing what she describes as a “National State of Emergency” and examines the influence she believes international agendas, including United Nations initiatives, are having on Canadian governments and institutions. Shelagh is now running for Ward 7 Councillor in the City of Kawartha Lakes. I was then invited to speak about why I am running for Ward 8 Councillor, what needs to change at City Hall, and one fundamental principle: WE WORK FOR THE PEOPLE. It was also encouraging to have other Mayoral and Councillor candidates from across Ontario in attendance, bringing together people who want stronger municipal accountability. A GREAT CROWD AND GREAT Q&A My message was very well received. The crowd was engaged, and we had a strong Q&A session at the end. Watch right to the end, some of the best discussion happened during the Q&A. IN THIS PRESENTATION: 🔹 Government Accountability Government must remember who it works for, the people. 🔹 Cutting Waste and Reducing Taxes Before asking taxpayers for more, examine spending, contracts, consultants, management costs and duplication. Protect essential services. Cut the waste first. 🔹 PITA — Public Issue Tracker APP Got an issue? Put it in PITA! Report it. Map it. Track it. Get answers. One complaint can be overlooked. A visible pattern cannot. PITA helps residents document municipal problems, track complaints and make patterns visible while protecting private information. 🔹 Cube House Media Communities need independent...
